As noted in the Summer/Autumn 2005 Moffatana preparations are underway for the publication of a new Clan Moffat Society Member Directory. In order for this to be as up to date as possible, including a reference to each Member's genealogy, please take a few minutes to check if you are in the database.

Currently the online genealogy is set to suppress information about people known to be alive, including the name, so it's not possible to find most members in the online genealogy.

In the table below:

the left two columns show the Membership number and genealogy file ID number for those people I believe are in the genealogy file

the right column shows the Membership Number for those members who I believe are NOT in the genealogy file.

Please check the table to see under which category you fall. If you are in the "Not in the Genealogy File" column, please consider adding your genealogy to the Clan Moffat Society database. Contact the Genealogist to arrange this.

If your Member number shows in the left column, clicking the underlined link in the second column "should" open your page in the online genealogy. Most people won't see their name here as it will be suppressed because they are "Living". You may or may not see your parents' names, depending on whether they are still living or not. You can move to earlier generations by clicking on the link beside Father and/or Mother.
